Angular stomatitis: can be treated at home!!
Angular stomatitis ( or angular cheilitis ) is the inflammation of the corners of the mouth (labial commissures) following a bacterial or a fungal infection.
This condition is more common in people who have a deficiency in iron or in vitamin B-2 (Riboflavin), B-3 (Niacin), B-6 (Pyridoxine) or B-12 (Cyanocobalamine) .
Other causes:
* Contact dermatitis
* Lipstick allergy
* Excessive lip sucking
* Excessive pen sucking
* Eczema
* Glucagonoma
* Mouth overclosure
The 2 scenario: 1-accumulation of saliva in the corners of the mouth to favor the infection.AS people who use dentures that do not fit properly often end up having a case of angular stomatitis.
2-The other possible scenario is that, after a long exposure to the sun or the cold wind, your lips may get dried out and irritated. To relieve the irritation, you may start to lick your lips, and without knowing it, you give the pathogens that cause angular cheilitis the moisturized environment they crave. And after a few hours, the infection kicks in.
Treatment for angular stomatitis :
The mainly prescribed medication for angular stomatitis is 1% hydro cortisone. This medication is available under many different brand names.
There are also other creams for angular stomatitis like Mycolog-ll, Mycostatin and Miconazole gel.
It is possible to cure angular stomatitis with a simple home remedy. This remedy works by drying out the moisturized areas of the infection to kill the fungus or the bacteria in a matter of hours.

Appendicitis Picture
Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix, a finger-like glandular piece of tissue that connects to the beginning of the large intestine, usually at the lower right side of the abdomen. In older children, the classic symptoms of appendicitis are abdominal pain, fever, and vomiting. Abdominal pain usually begins in the center of the abdomen, around the area of the navel ("belly button"). Later, the pain may move downward and to the right - to an area called McBurney's point, roughly corresponding to the location of the appendix in the lower right portion of the abdomen.
